Toad's Place, 300 York Street in New Haven, CT has been "hoppin'" since 1975, when Hungry Charlie's closed it's doors for the last time.  Toad's has ALWAYS supported live music, including the active local music scene, for 27 years and is still going strong. The Toad's staff is the hardest working club staff in show business-they are the BEST! Always was...always will be...Mike, John, Kevin, Brian, Jack, Whiskey, Sam T...to the good old days...

Headlining at Toad's with Jake & the Family Jewels in the 70's and 80's was a gas. The gigs with Joey Melotti, Blake Street Gut Band, Karen & The Pistons, Homesick John O'Leary, Stormin' Norman & Suzy were great!... So was opening for:

Sam & Dave, Aztec Two-Step, Martha Reeves, Ian Mathews, NRBQ, Geoff Muldaur, Fabulous Rhinestones, Good Rats, Laughing Dogs, Beaver Brown...
