 Phil Rosenthal & Bluegrass Union begin their spring season of concerts at the Nathanael Green Community Center, 32 Church St., Guilford, on Sunday, April 6th, at 7 p.m. (The next show will be May 4th.)  Featuring Phil Rosenthal on guitar, Beth Sommers on bass, Dave Kiphuth on banjo, Stacy Phillips on fiddle and dobro, and Phil Zimmerman on mandolin, the band presents a toe-tapping mix of traditional and original songs, fancy picking and great harmony singing.  Admission is $10.  For further information call (203) 457-0881 or 453-8068.

Directions : from I-95 heading north: exit 58, go right at end of exit.  Go approx. 1/2 mile to light. Cross Route 1 (at light) and continue approx. 1/4 mile further. Nathanael Greene Community Center is a large building on the right, with itšs own wrap-around parking lot.  From I-95 heading south: exit 58, go left at end of exit.  Follow directions above.

 The band will also be performing at The Sounding Board in West Hartford at 8 p.m., Saturday April 5th.  This long-running concert series is held at the Universalist Church of West Hartford, 433 Fern St., West Hartford. For information or reservations call (860) 632-7547.
