Rides (the River Run) again!
Beginning on June 8
the GJB will perform from 6 to 8:30 PM on Sundays at the RiverRun At Millpond
(formerly the Millpond Tavern) on Route 17 in Northford, just north of Route 22. 
The Millpond was home of the GJB for 25 years, from 1971 to 1996. Snacks and dinners will be available, as well as a dance floor and of course a bar. There will be a $10 cover charge collected at the door; if a complete meal is
ordered, the cover will be reduced by $5. Kids under 16 get in free. For the $10 you get Connecticut's number one Jazz Band, a beautiful smoke free room with a spacious dance floor, plenty of seats, and free munchies such as veggies, dips, fruit, chips, and something hot, maybe sausage and peppers. What's nice about a cover is that you're not obligated to eat or drink anything, though we encourage you to do
