both readings are part of "REDEYE" : Several staged readings will conclude a New York residency of three emerging Slovenian playwrights and their collaboration with four American playwrights. PAST PERFORMANCES

JANUARY 2002

Wednesday, January 2nd - Caleb Hammond performs the latest installment of his ongoing solo performance work "FIRE, digital fire" this Wednesday as part of the Overground Series.

"The Overground Series is a forum for creative communication. We endeavor to move underground ideas out into the light where they can grow, flourish and spread. "

January Overground comes to Surf Reality this Wednesday at 8pm. The admission is $7. Surf Reality is Located at 172 Allen Street, 2nd floor, between Stanton and Rivington. 1st Avenue below Houston becomes Allen Street. See bottom for directions.

"FIRE, digital fire" will change your life!

Directions:

F Train to the 2nd Avenue station: go out the 1st Ave./Allen St. exit and walk down Allen St. Surf Reality will be on your left, 1.5 Blocks below Houston.

FDR Drive: Take Exit 5 onto Houston Street. Take a left on Allen St. The theater will be on your left, 1.5 blocks below Houston.

The Third version of "FIRE, digital fire" will be start touring in April. look for it at an alternative space near you


SURF REALITY

Surf Reality's House of Urban Savages is a 60-seat performance space on NYC's Lower East Side which is dedicated to the growth of new forms of comedy, theatre, and film.

Managed by live-in cabana boy, Robert Prichard, Surf is widely recognized as being Manhattan's "home" of alternative comedy and performance.

This mailing list was established in order to keep Surf-goers up to date on the goings on at the House of Urban Savages. Subscribers will receive schedules, invitations to private parties, and special rates on Surf Reality's in-house productions.
